What you are looking at is an actual Agosta 70 class submarine, originally built in France in 1978 and given the name SMD Ouessant. She served in the French Navy before being acquired by the Royal Malaysian Navy, where she was renamed KD Tun Abdul Razak and served as the training vessel for Malaysia's submarine program. Getting this sixty-seven-metre submarine to its current location was an engineering feat in itself, kan? After being decommissioned, the submarine had to be transported overland from the coast to this spot near the Maritime Museum.
